Receiving a credit report and score also allows for the checking of any inaccuracies. Most companies offering an instant credit report and instant score also provide the following services: watching for fraudulent activities, looking at checks on a person's credit, giving unlimited online access, triple bureau (Equifax, Experian and Transunion) credit monitoring, id theft insurance, resources to credit tips and information, and alerts on credit related activities. Activities on current loans, mortgages, etc are easily monitored with an online company. It is not necessary to pay for an instant credit report because it is mandated by federal law every year each person is entitled to a free instant credit report.
