Sears Credit Card

Department stores across the country issue credit cards every day. Every time you go through a checkout it seems like somebody else is offering you to apply for their credit card. Sometimes this can just be a hassle and you just tell them no. Sometimes, though, you might be interested to see if you can get the credit card and what the benefits are so you let them give it a shot.

One department store credit card I am glad I have is the Sears Credit Card. There are many benefits to being a Sears credit cardholder. First, you get special card-member only benefits and discounts to the company and its affiliated stores. Another benefit is that Sears & Roebuck are owners of many more companies other than just Sears alone including names like Kmart and Land's End. The card is allowed to be used at any of these stores giving you access to unlimited possibilities.

Having a Sears Credit Card is more than just being able to use it at all these different stores. If I am need of something for a birthday party, it is so convenient that I can run down the road to my local Kmart and pick something up. I have used my card for Valentine's Day gifts, birthday gifts, wedding gifts, housewarming gifts, and gifts that are just because. Last summer, on a whim, I used my Sears card to purchase an above ground pool for my family and myself.

The Sears Credit Card has come in handy time and time again and I have found myself reaching in my purse for it more than I could have ever imagined. It's not your regular department store credit card, to say the least. With its flexibility and the ability to use it at various locations, the Sears Credit Card definitely has a competitive advantage to that of other department stores.

There are many department stores who offer credit to customers on a daily basis. Some of them are worth the hassle while others of them are not. The Sears Credit Card has proven time and time again to be a great asset to my wallet. It has helped me when I have needed to get last minute gifts or party decorations. It has also helped make it possible to bring my family closer together when I purchased the swimming pool. If there is only one department store credit card you are going to get, I suggest it be the Sears Credit Card.
