Corporate finance is the sector in finance, it deals with the decisions of the business corporate financially, and that is the arrangement of the decision, tools needed for the decision and other such things. The main aim of this corporate sector is to increase the value of the business financially. There are two types of the corporate finance; they are long term decisions or techniques and short term decision or techniques. Capital investment is the long term technique and the short term decisions can be the techniques under, working capital management. Corporate finance is mostly about investment and investment banking. Capital investment totally relates to fixed assets and capital structure. One must make sure that there are the required resources to process a project. Some of the qualifications required to take up corporate finance are, masters in finance or finance and economy, charted financial analyst, CIIA, MFM,MFC, etc. The corporate finance classes teach an individual about a corporation and its working environment the method by which the corporate boards operate and how they deal with investing in a project. It also deals with teaching a person on how to evaluate an infrastructure and other financial and corporate section is all about.Â
