The candidates in this type of job position must therefore have particular qualities and wide analytical skills to be able to steer the company or business in the right direction. The candidate must have qualifications in the relevant fields which include bachelor’s degree with a major in accounting, finance or any other relevant field. Besides the academic qualifications, a good ability to read market trends and project appropriately to counter any possible consequences that may result form the current trends will be an advantage.

Preparation of reports on the management of the company on a regular basis is a very important part of the job that the financial analyst must be able to do in order to come up with a good plan for the company’s development. This requires the ability to perform complex numerical calculations out of accounting reports and the company’s income and expenditure reports. All the above should be combined with good inter personal skills and the knowledge of communication to help the individual in passing his/her message to the people who should be informed of the same .he/she should be able to pass the message adequately in order to convince directors of the company and any potential investors of the company’s potentiality.

The job of a financial analyst has variable pay rate depending on many factors, the company in question is the first and most important factor that determines the pay rate although there are set averages. The responsibilities that each particular company may want you to handle will also determine your pay package. Other factors are based on the candidate‘s personal skills and experience. The more qualified the candidate the higher the possibility of a better pay just like it applies in many other sectors of the employment industry. The rates of pay are thus determined by very many factors and cannot be the same since the circumstances around the operations of each company cannot be the same.
