As you probably know there are many people who have got a master degree of finance and if we have to be objective we should say that those people are much more than it is needed. I am going to give a very simple example: 1 million of the students in the USA chose to study finance at the University. That is an impressive number of students- 25 per cent or said in other words: one of every four students chose to study finance.
Unsurprisingly, that resulted in high rates of unemployment in the United States but not only- Europe, Australia and even Asia are also facing the same problem as most of the financial specialist cannot find a job. I am sure that many of you, the people who read that article, are also knowledgeable about the finance but they do not have a job or probably their job has nothing to do with the master degree which they have got.
Of course, there are several tricks which you could use in order to increase your chance of getting a job related to the finance subject. For example, I would advise you to attend some courses and lessons which will help you get even more knowledge about the subject. Let’s not forget that you will get certificates which will verify your wide experience in the area of finance. You will already not be just one of the people who have got a master degree but you will have verifications also! Undoubtedly, you will become more attractive to the employers and it is very probable that you will get much more than one or two offers for jobs. It really sounds incredible, especially when you keep in your mind that all you did is attending several courses and lessons!
However, there is something else, another trick, which you should definitely take advantage of. I am talking about the language practice- although most of the students learn two languages at the University, but there are a lot of people who speak neither of them. Unluckily for the foreigners finance is a subject in a close relation to the languages because communication needs to be made between financial experts from all over the world. And as you can probably assume- we cannot always rely on translators!
And the last tip which I would give is to look for finance jobs effectively. What I mean is that you should just visit websites offering jobs but you should also be in contact with many people and try to gain as much information about new job opportunities as possible. By following all those tips, it is 100% sure that you will not be one of the millions finance experts who are unemployed!
