The school of accounting and finance, as the name suggests, offers many programs in accounts and finances field. This school is a part of the University of Waterloo in Canada and was started in the year 1985. This school was initially named as “school of accountancy” but was changed to its current name in the year 2008.

The school of accounting and finance is famous for its graduate and undergraduate courses. The various undergraduate courses that you can opt in the school of accounting and finance are BAFM (Bachelor in Accounting and Financial Management), BCFM (Bachelor in Computing and Financial Management), MathCA (Mathematics and Chartered Accountancy) and ScienceCA (Biotechnology and Chartered Accountancy).

Out of the four undergraduate courses, the first two viz. The other two courses viz. MathCA and ScienceCA provide mathematical and scientific skills to students along with thorough knowledge about accounting and finance.

Although it may seem as if the school of accounting and finance offers very small number of degree courses, the thing that makes them special is the innovative techniques that they use for imparting knowledge to students. The school also has an excellent research facility where the researchers are mostly editors from some of the most astounding intellectual journals.

Various activities take place within the campus which includes technical seminars. Lots of seminars on research materials are periodically held to hone the skills of the student community.
