University Of Michigan Finance

It is not possible that every student can afford to study in the University of Michigan. Therefore, to assist individuals, there is separate consideration. Packages are offered to students according to their ease. Following is the criteria for students who can apply for this financial assist.

Finance:

* Scholarship: A gift by university or state to student due to high academic achievement or talent.

* Work-study: Work-study employment is a financial assistance program for students who need financial assistance.

ELEGIBILITY:

* Basic need.

Every program has particular necessities. Following are the individuals who are eligible:

* The students who are in need of assistance must be encouraged and apply before the deadlines in order to be considered as eligible.

* Accepted for registration or at least half time as a registered student working on a degree or certificate (but you can apply for a grant, even if not yet accepted or credited)

* Either eligible non-US citizen or US- citizen.

* Security number

* If needed, registration with selective service.

* Gratified academic progress.

* Only federal students assist for educational matters and not to repay any federal grant or educational finance.

* Students who are undergraduates or those who have already received one or more bachelor’s degree…

Students had received bachelor’s degree doing additional majors are eligible for loans only. This includes continuing students still studying in university. Gratified academic records will also be referred.  

* Students who are studying in more than one institute.

If any student is studying in more than one institution may receive financial assistance but only from one institute. 

* NON-RESIDENT OF US…

Sufficient funds are not possessed by the agency of finance assist even to entertain non-US residents. Non-US residents are not entertained directly, but those having scholarship from university of Michigan or any other source may bear their cost from such resources. Loans or federal direct loan is option, which is often chosen by non-US resident students.
