Acting In Concert - Acting in concert is like a pooling effort between investors. A group of investors' work together picking identical stocks, bonds, and other investments, in an attempt to obtain a common investment target. Usually this occurs when two or more investors or company's wish to have some control, or influence, over another company's corporate level decisions, or they may be wishing to take over the company. They do this by coming together to purchase a large amount of shares in the company they wish to have some influence over. By doing this, the investors or companies hope to sway decisions in favour or things they are involved in, or have some ownership in.
