Black Friday

Black Friday - Black Friday took place on September 24 in the year 1986. This was the day everyone, involved in the stock markets, remembers as the worst day of his or her life. On this day in stock market history, the markets crashed after a failed attempt by a group of financiers to try to corner the market in gold. This led to a major depression, which is a specific time period where business activity drops to an all time low, and in turn, creates skyrocketing unemployment rates and deflation. Many will never forget this time of suffering, as many were affected that were not involved in the markets.
