Business to Businessbusiness-to-business is a term used to describe a transaction which occurs between two companies.  The transaction may be  a trade of goods or service,  but it never has to do with a consumer, it only affects the two businesses.  A business-to-business (B2B) transaction  is similar to a wholesale transaction whereas a wholesaler sells to a retailer, or a brick and mortar business.
