Digested Security - a digested security is a security that investors would most likely hang on too for a long period of time A security could be any of the following: a stock , bond, treasury stock, debenture, certificate of interest, amongst of securities.. A digest security is the opposite of a stock that?s traded, and followed on a daily basis. Some investors chose to turn over securities in very short times, with the hopes of making a fast profit, and minimizing risk, But at times investors find as security which they choose to hang on to for a long period of times, ( years generally), these securities would be called digested securities
