Distribution Stock - When sock is sold there are several approaches that can be used, If the stock is sold all at once on the market, some analysts might interpret that as an indication that there is something wrong and as a result the value of the stock could be adversely affected. One way to avoid this problem is to spread the sale of the stock over a longer period of time. This method is often called distribution stock because the process of the sales takes place or is distributed over a longer time with multiple transactions instead of a single larger one.
