Feeder Fund

Feeder Fund - A feeder fund is a fund where an investor invests only through another fund, which is known as a master fund. The shares are sold to any investor through the feeder fund, but are only invested back through the master fund. These funds conduct the majority of their investing through another fund. Sometimes onshore feeder funds will be happy to invest in offshore master funds, as this foreign master fund provides additional tax advantages for many domestic investors. This is a great way to invest and get a great yield on your return if the master fund is doing well. Financial Advisor - A financial advisor is a person or an organization that is employed by a mutual fund or individual to manage the assets and provide investment advice. Financial advisors obtain information on the stocks, shares and other financial securities from various sources. One of the more common is the financial analyst who does research on various sectors and industries within the stock market or stock exchange. These financial advisors compile the information from the various sources and forecasts before providing advice to the various investors that seek their guidance and buy or bell on their recommendation. Financial Analyst - A Financial Analyst is an employee that belongs to a brokerage, advisor, bank, or mutual fund that analyses companies and makes buy and sell recommendations. A financial analyst often specializes in a specific sector or industry and also in a single sector or industry. These analyses use a variety of research and forecasting techniques before making recommendations on their findings. Reports and recommendations, based on their findings, are often useful to mutual fund managers, traders, advisors, investors and portfolio managers to assist with their decision making process. These analysts are also known as just analysts or securities analyst.
