Floating supply- Is when there is an available supply of shares and stock that can be purchased by any an investor or a corporation. There are usually a high number of shares or security options that are available due to an outstanding amount and can be traded to investors at any given time. Also you can find the ?blue list? it is a type of publication that list the available and the supply of municipal bonds, stock and shares in this daily financial publication. Also a floating supply may also relate to the number of transactions that are being made and that are not logged yet as they are floating before being re-traded or sold to an investor.
