Fractional Share

Fractional Share- It is used when the less than a single stock or share are being held by an investor or an investment company. A fractional of the shares is often the result from the stock splits and the stock dividends are in similar actions. When the fractional share is either paid out in cash or can be credited to an investor holding a dividend reinvestment plan. Also it is used to state a share is sold by a holder and a fraction of the sales buy the holder can be used to enjoy the priorities and the privileges of the market.
