High Watermark?- This is a term that applies to whatever is the highest value a given investment fund has actually earned. This is referred to as its high watermark mark by the investors. Such value has benefit mainly in terms to those who manage the funds. They are used as a gauge to determine any bonus a specific manager will be eligible for during a given period. This is based on whether they succeeded in exceeding the high watermark level in earnings. Should the manager fail to have earnings above that level then no bonus is made available. |
