Cedar Fair Stock

A stock symbol is usually just a combination of 1-4 letters and doesn't usually reveal much about the company. But Cedar Fair's stock symbol (FUN) is what the company is all about.

America's favorite pastime might be baseball but close behind it are amusement parks. After all, what kid hasn't spent part of his summer vacation riding roller coasters? I know that I always looked forward to heading north towards Chicago to go to Six Flags Great America.

And amusement parks are Cedar Fair's specialty. The company owns five major amusement parks such as Cedar Point in Ohio, Dorney Park & Wildwater Kingdom in Pennsylvania, Knott's Berry Farm in California, Valleyfair in Minnesota, and Worlds of Fun in Missouri. These parks attract more than 11 million people each year. All of these are family-oriented and provide clean and attractive environments for excitement.

Although their amusement park business contributes to a majority of the company's revenues, it's not their only business. They also own a number of water parks, hotels, restaurants, and even a marina.

If you're interested in following the company, their stock symbol is easy enough to remember. Just think "FUN"
