Perhaps you want to get more into the action of the business world. You can work for a company that supplies their widget or services to everyone. Your goal is to make sure the company can take the maximum deductions and credits to take profitable.
Law firms
Perhaps being among your peers is your thing. The cameraderie you experience from being around other lawyers gets your juices going. Not only will you get to be around other lawyers but you won't get bored as you'll have more than one client that you will represent. This is essential if you are prone to boredom and the fear of doing the same thing terrifies you. This is probably the best choice for you.
Law clerk
This is an often overlooked area for people thinking about a tax lawyer career. You will clerk for a judge and get to see cases being decided upon at the court. You won't be trying a case. If you want more normal hours and the idea of dealing with clients isn't for you this might be up your alley.
