Spend Less Than You Earn - To spend less than you earn, basically, means to live within your means. In other words, if you don't have the cash to pay for it, you cannot buy it. Too many people today live on plastic, or credit cards, often spending much more than they make each week. This, in turn, incurs additional expenses that must be pay for in the way of interest and before long those people who don't spend less than you earn, are paying nothing more than the interest charged on their debts and in serious trouble. In order to do this, using credit cards, you must pay your credit cards off before each statement arrives, so you do not incur interest charges.
