| E-mail What kid has not been to Disney World? Who has never seen a Disney movie before? Disney's huge influence on our lives is what made us decide to add the company to the Young30 stock index. You're probably aware of Disney World, Disney Land, and all the Disney movies that they make. But you may not be aware of exactly how much the company does. This might surprise you: they are the 2nd largest media company in the world with interests in ABC Entertainment Television, Miramax, Buena Vista, Disneyland, Animal Kingdom, Tokyo Disneyland, Disney-MGM Studios, Disneyland Paris, Epcot Center, the Magic Kingdom in Orlando, various publishing companies, the Internet portal Go.com, close to a dozen television stations, shares in nine cable channels, and their own sports team, the Anaheim Mighty Ducks! If everything that Disney does doesn't surprise you, I don't know what will! The company
hit it big a few years back when ABC released the hit television
show "Who Wants to Be a Millionaire?", which won them
the #1 spot during the ratings sweeps.
